I know another example of Transmedia for the social cause.
It´s a undergraduate project about using diferents supports (media) and stories to explain the construction of citizenship in Brazil.

[...] La narración transmediática tiene visos de ser más que revolución, una evolución natural de la comunicación estos tiempos de confluencia. Pensar que todo contenido terminará siendo transmediático responde a la simple observación del comportamiento de los medios y las formas de comunicar, pero también a la evolución de una sociedad cada vez más conectada. No obstante la práctica transmedia no parece sencilla de explicar y menos cuando el panorama se llena con propuestas para explicar su teoría y la estas a su vez, presentan muchos modelos aparentemente contradictorios. Tranquilidad, llegaremos al estado en que no se necesiten teorías porque el contenido transmedia terminará siendo la realidad cotidiana y no resultará entonces tan misteriosa, ni nos asombrará que alguien lance una parrafada sobre “tacos transmedia” o que se asocie a esta práctica las oportunidades para lograr un verdadero cambio social. I often give talks on Transmedia Activism as well and would love to sit down with you to talk more on this topic….I will be in NYC this week but usually live/work in Los Angeles, a city full of mediamakers who WANT transmedia activism but rarely know how to implement it with grace, efficiency, care and success.
